How to manage account(ing) for EBay?

Good morning,

I would love to hear from anyone running a business on EBay about the experience and preferences with managing their EBay books.

Do you use any software or excel to record sales? do you make sales and purchases/expenses on ebay? How do you handle the different costs of shipping, handling, insurance, savings etc?

EBay record have breaks it down to:
AmountPaid,Subtotal,Total,Shipping cost,Intl shipping cost,Actual handling,Actual shipping,AdjustmentAmount ,AmountSaved

Would you generate invoices for the sale and expense for the fees for each record?

Does it even makes sense to integrate to EBay itself when you can get all of the details from the PayPal integration?

I will probably take the advice of the "lean startup" and build an MVP and see if anyone actually needs it :-)
