Â
Nominal has released a new iPhone application offering small businesses in Australia the ultimate in mobile accounting software.
Â
The free app allows users to easily manage their business finances Ëœon the road' with the security of knowing that updates are synchronised with their Nominal desktop accounting software.
Â
Nominal founder Uri Maimon said, "Our customers are increasingly demanding software that allows for smartphone invoicing and we've responded with our phenomenal iPhone App.Â
Â
Business owners can view, create and update invoices, make purchases, receive payments, monitor accounts and manage contact lists “ all from the comfort of their iPhone multi-touch screen.
Â
Once in the office, they can open their desktop application and click Ëœsync mobile'. This allows for synchronisation between the data on their Nominal iPhone App and desktop application.
Â
"It's a unique offering that's giving some of the bigger accounting software vendors in Australia a run for their money “ and it's now available through the Apple store, Uri said.
Â
The Nominal iPhone App is a mobile application specifically designed for the iPhone's small screen and has distinctive features such as pull to refresh and contacts integration. It's the latest in a suite of accounting solutions developed by Nominal (a similar one will be launched for Android smartphones and tablets in the next few months).
Â
Nominal has also recently developed a feature which helps business users dramatically improve their bookkeeping process and store their tax documents online in line with Australian Tax Office standards.
Â
The feature works by integrating the Nominal desktop accounting application with Shoeboxed, a platform that allows users to send, store, scan and keep track of paper documents such as receipts and invoices online.
Nominal is a start-up company that specialises in supplying Australian small businesses with accounting software packages that are powerful, simple to use and affordable.
Â
"Existing accounting software solutions can be complex and expensive as they focus on businesses with more diverse needs. Small businesses usually only require simple accounting tools “ and that's where we come in, he said.
